Volunteering at SwampCon! SwampCon is a nonprofit convention that is completely dependent on a volunteer-based staff. Tasks for volunteers on the day of will include managing registration, checking for wristbands, assisting panelists and guests with set-up, and more. Volunteer captains are in charge of their own team of volunteers and will be designated to certain areas.
Why volunteer? It’s a great way to get involved with SwampCon and get to know “behind the scenes” of it all. SwampCon is only possible with the help of the community and our volunteers and we want to make the best convention experience possible for everyone.
Volunteering includes PERKS, too! SwampCon volunteers get access to the private break room at the convention, an area to relax after a shift and also where meals will be provided (think pizza, subs, even leftovers from Maid Cafe!) If you need volunteer/service hours, we can sign off on those too!
